VISIT TO NEWCASTLE
A visit to the school is vital before deciding to send your son to Newcastle School for Boys. Please contact the school to meet the headmaster, other senior members of staff and pupils and have a tour of the school.
REGISTRATION
Your son’s name can be entered at any time if there are places available, by completing and returning the enclosed Application Form.
ACCEPTANCE
After we receive your completed Application Form we will confirm that a place is available for your son. For entry into Year 7 and above, this will be subject to your son successfully passing an assessment. In the academic year prior to entry we will request formal confirmation of your intention to take up the offer of a place. We will then arrange for your son to visit the school prior to his entry and will provide more detailed information about starting school at Newcastle School for Boys. You and your son will be invited to appropriate school events before he starts school.
