THE SCHOOL
Newcastle School for Boys is a warm and vibrant school that can only be fully appreciated by coming to see us. If you now wish to arrange a visit please contact the school to meet the Headmaster, other senior members and pupils and have a tour.
REGISTRATION
Your son’s name can be entered at any time if there are places available, by completing and returning the enclosed Application Form.
ACCEPTANCE
Nursery and ReceptionAfter we receive your completed Application Form we will confirm that a place is available for your son.
Years 1 to 5
After we receive your completed Application Form your son will be invited to attend the school for a visit. During this visit
assessments will be carried out to ensure that your son will be able to benefit from our educational provision and philosophy.
On successful completion of this visit we will confirm that a place is available for your son.
Years 6 and above
For entry into Year 6 and above, your son will be required to sit an Entrance Examination to ensure your son will be able to cope with the academic standards of the School.
