Welcome to our happy, positive and friendly junior school where the boys are at the heart of everything we do.

Boys’ enthusiasm and love for life is welcomed in this leading junior school. Boys are challenged with a curriculum that has the highest of academic and personal expectations. Our boys are bright, cheerful, caring and friendly. They love learning and embrace school life.

The junior academic experience is challenging, exciting and aimed at boys. Very high standards of teaching and pastoral support ensure that boys make the academic progress that is essential as they grow and develop. It is typical that many of our boys work well above their actual age in English, Maths and other subjects. Boys relish this level of success and take great pride in academic achievement.

Our boys enjoy a wide range of sporting opportunities and healthy competition with values is encouraged. Music and performing arts are significant features that develop confidence. Our boys are encouraged to speak up and come with a large dose of confidence, character and resilience.

We like the boys to embrace all aspects of school life and a packed co-curricular programme has a club for all tastes, interests and talents. School life is intentionally busy and boys find the school week flies by. Interesting and creative homework opportunities continue the learning experience at home whilst teaching boys the essential skills of independence and self-reliance.

The Junior School guarantees a warm welcome and the boys and staff encourage you to come for a visit. Each and every door is always open and the boys like nothing more than meeting new people and sharing their pride in their fantastic achievements.

We all look forward to meeting you soon.

The boys were an absolute credit to the school from the start to finish of the 3 days I was lucky enough to spend with them.  We were frequently stopped by passers-by who had been moved to congratulate us on the high standard of behaviour of the boys. - Parent
