The Golden Rules are described and referred to during each school day. They are displayed in the school, and all members of the school community are expected to follow them. These rules were discussed and agreed by the boys in Years,3,4 and 5.
Rules:
Excellence in behaviour is celebrated by awards: both individually, and on a group basis. Good behaviour and manners are recognised throughout the school day. During weekly assemblies, awards are given for good conduct and good work.
In joining the School, a teacher or parent becomes part of our school community. Each member of the school has a role to play within it, and responsibilities towards others and their property.

All members of the school community are expected to respect the Code of Conduct and children will be rewarded for doing so, as described above. In addition each teacher will devise rules for their classroom which are explained to the class and all children are expected to abide by theserules. Aggressive physical contact is not tolerated either ar play or as a punishment.

Children are generally not made to stand outside a classroom.
Parents will be involved at the discretion of the Head of the Junior School and the class teacher.
Major incidents are recorded in the incident book and discussions with parents are documented and kept in the child's file in the office.
