The Year 7 football team got their league campaign underway against Walker. NSB started the game well and opened the scoring through Joseph T after forcing a mistake in Walker's defence. Walker responded well scoring two goals, one from the penalty spot and another from long range. NSB levelled the scores just before half time after Nicholas S' cross ended up lobbing Walker’s goal keeper into the back of the net.

After half time, Walker started the better of the two sides and scored a quick fire double to make the score 4-2. NSB’s response to falling behind again was excellent, they didn’t panic and played some excellent passing football. Their excellent play was rewarded in the final stages of the game with further goals from Sykes and Taylor making the final score 4-4.

The boys showed real resilience coming from behind twice in the game to rescue a point.  Well done the whole team.
