It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that Newcastle School for Boys will be opening a new, dedicated sixth form centre in September 2017.

The School has secured on a leasehold basis the property at 1 Moor Road South, directly opposite our Senior School site at The Grove.  The new building offers a great learning environment and facilities for our sixth formers comprising classrooms, study space and a large common room.

The property is already in a very good condition and work will begin shortly to ensure the very best design and provision for our sixth formers.  We will keep you up to date as the work progresses.

Whilst our sixth formers will, of course, remain an integral part of the senior and whole school, moving their base to 1 Moor Road South will also allow us to generate some additional space and facilities for boys in Years 7 to 11 at The Grove.

The addition of a new sixth form centre is a significant development in the continued growth and development of Newcastle School for Boys and the realisation of our ten-year vision.
