The Newcastle School is an independent co-educational school in Newcastle upon Tyne, located in the heart of Gosforth. From September 2026, we proudly welcome both girls and boys into a vibrant and inclusive school community that combines academic excellence, exceptional pastoral care and outstanding opportunities beyond the classroom
Building on the successful legacy of Newcastle School for Boys, The Newcastle School offers a seamless educational journey from Early Years through to Sixth Form. As a through-school, we provide continuity, consistency and a strong sense of belonging throughout every stage of a child's education.
