Our Junior School curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, develop confidence and foster a lifelong love of learning. Through engaging, topic-based learning, pupils make connections across subjects, apply their knowledge in meaningful contexts and develop a questioning approach to the world around them. Alongside strong foundations in English, Mathematics and Science, pupils enjoy a broad curriculum including History, Geography, Modern Foreign Languages, Computing, Art, Design Technology, Music, Religious Studies and PSHE. Specialist teaching in areas such as Music, Art and PE enriches the learning experience from an early age.

What is Adaptive Teaching?

Adaptive teaching is an approach that recognises that children learn in different ways and at different rates. Rather than expecting every pupil to work through the same tasks in exactly the same way, teachers carefully adapt their teaching, questioning, resources and levels of support to meet the needs of each learner. This may involve:
